    • there are various scams to be careful of. A woman came up to us on Easter Monday and offered us a flower. wE thought (naively?) it was a gift then she asked for 1 Euro .As my husband was looking in his wallet she stole a 50 Euro note and then when we shouted at her and muttered the word "Policia" she got scared and claimed we had dropped it.Fortunately she returned the money and ran off.
    Friends told us that there is another scam where they sign you on some kind of petitiion for something and then demand money for it, so watch out for your wallet at all times...
