Our trip west AS part of our South West trip in the UK we visited many lovely places.We began with Wiltshire , since my dad, despite being born and bred in Yorkshire, and living in London for 30 years, never managed to visit Stonehenge.So we set out from Stansted to get to Stonehenge which we reached just as it was beginning to rain. By the time we had paid and gone through the turnstile it was fairly pouring! Never mind, we whipped round Stonehenge at lightening spped, tried to pay attention to the audio guides without getting soaked.We were, of course ,wet through by the time we reached the car, and went driving around looking for a place to change our soaking clothes. In the end we did this in a car park in Salisbury!! Never mind ,nobody noticed. Then we continued around Salisbury cathedral with our dry clothes on....This explains why there are no photos of Stonehenge here. But there are loads of them on VT already.
