Can we travel in Sapa in June-July or is it too muddy? we know it's the monsoon but it is the only time we can travel!

I get the impression that Sapa is always muddy - it certainly was in March, but only on the "so-called" trails. It was great fun, I'd do it again, but next time I'll prepare with decent boots!!! It's not the mud that gets one, it's the damn rocks on those "so-called" trails. You'll also encounter buffalo dung there. Good sugarcane though, and really nice people in the area. One of the best times is after dark - the whole town is candlelit.
